Commentary: Our Future

This is no time for despair. This is no time for discouragement, and this is certainly no time for violence. Now is the time to use every constitutional prerogative at our disposal to peacefully fight for the future of our country.

I was deeply disappointed by the outcomes in the Georgia elections and the congressional certification of the electoral college vote making Joe Biden the next President of the United States. However, this is the reality we face, and it is time to acknowledge it.

Some say that Trump supporters were infiltrated in the Capital rally on Wednesday. The violence and death which happened there was so uncharacteristic of the peaceful rallies held for President Trump since he was elected. Whatever the cause and whoever they were, Trump supporters, leftist infiltrators or both, what happened in Washington, DC yesterday was shameful and unacceptable.

We do not solve our political problems by storming our capital and attacking law enforcement. I condemned the riots throughout 2020, and will not engage in the gross hypocrisy of downplaying Wednesday’s mayhem. It was wrong and we cannot be part of such behavior nor excuse it in any way.

I understand the frustration, but violence and anarchy is the wrong way to express it. Four people are dead and many people caught on film breaking into the Capital have ruined their lives and will become convicted felons. It is such a tragic waste of human life and potential. It also does a disservice to our cause.

However, I will not kick President Trump when he is down. He must be deeply disappointed and very angry, but he has done much in service to our country for the past four years. While I think it was unrealistic for him and his supporters to his expect that Congress or Vice President Pence would overturn the electoral vote, it was the only hope left. He has stated that he will cooperate in the peaceful transition of power. That is the Donald Trump who loves America. We should remember him and his presidency in that light.

As for the loss of the two Senate seats in Georgia, I am disgusted and disappointed, but I am not surprised. I not only blame the Left for this one. I blame the complacency and lack of vision in the conservative movement and the Republican Party. The unthinkable has happened. Georgia has been flipped. It is no longer a red state. This is because the Republican Party failed to understand what has been the plan of Democrat leaders for at least ten years.

A decade ago, Atlanta journalist Ronald Brownstein, wrote an article entitled “American’s New Electorate: How rising minority populations can reshape U.S. politics and carry Obama to victory in 2012.” In that piece he said:

“…national totals from the 2010 census showed that the minority share of the population increased over the past decade in every state, reaching levels higher than demographers anticipated…almost everywhere, and in the nation as a whole. If President Obama and Democrats can convert that growth into new voters…they can…seriously compete for…highly diverse states such as Arizona and Georgia that until now have been reliably red.”

That was a decade ago. Have Republican leaders been listening? Clearly not.

I have no doubt that there were irregularities and outright cheating in the Georgia election and others. However, that does not change the reality that Stacey Abrams, financed by George Soros, Michael Bloomberg and other wealthy leftists, registered millions of new voters in Georgia. This is their anti-American message:

America is hopelessly racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic, white supremacist. America was founded on slavery, expanded through genocide against Native Americans and stole our south western region from Mexicans. Therefore we need a socialist redistribution of wealth, reparations, open borders and revolutionary change in our institutions to make us a society of social justice. “People of color” must unite under the Marxist worldview of the Democrat Party.

Under this strategy, Stacey Abrams has been unleashed on America funded with hundreds of millions of dollars. Texas is next on their radar screen, and if we don’t move aggressively to counter this, we are going to lose our Republic. I’m sure you’ve heard the mantra going around in conservative circles:

“You can vote your way into socialism, but you have to shoot your way out.”

I disagree. You can stop it from being voted in and to the extent that it has been voted in, you can vote it out.

We ran hundreds of ads in Georgia leading up to the January 5th run-off, but it was too little too late. So we are launching “Operation Hearts, Minds and Votes.” We want to start immediately advertising and organizing in battleground states with significant numbers of minority voters. We cannot wait until 2022 and 2024. We are starting now.

We spent tens of thousands of dollars between the general election and the Georgia run-off election. Over the next two to four years, we are going to spend tens of millions of dollars. We need to be in Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Florida, Arizona, Michigan and Texas. I am convinced that Virginia can be reclaimed as a red state. A major part of this effort is the laborious process of flipping black, Hispanic voters and other voters “of color.” We also have to inculcate our young people against the Marxist indoctrination that is being brought to bear on them.

We have entered a new era, and it has given me a new sense of urgency. This is about saving our country and we have just suffered two major setbacks. We are rushing headlong in the direction of socialism and totalitarianism.

The Left is manipulating minorities and manufacturing grievances to gain and keep their voting loyalty. Even the children of Asians whose parents escaped communist regimes are now voting Democrat because they think that the Democratic Party is fighting racism. The irony is that the Democrat Party is and always has been a wellspring of racism and demagoguery. It must be exposed for what it is.

We are in this fight for the long haul.

Were you asleep under a rock for the past 2 months?? The elections since November have been wrought with cheating of any and all kinds imaginable. If I hear one more person whining about the riot in DC I think I’m going to throw up. If a whole country of responsible adults did that you might have to worry- like some counties have. Alot of people in this country are sick of the lies ,corruption , and greedy , self-serving agendas of leftist ( and many RINO) agendas. Those people are not the a**holes who were running around , breaking windows and climbing walls in DC. Voting in this country is done if the whole process is not completely changed. Until it is made fair again, your vote DOES NOT matter.
